The Boston Red Sox have gone from seven outs left in their 2008 season down 7-0 against the Tampa Bay Rays to fight their way back to force a Game 7 showdown in the American League Championship Series. The momentum from their historical Game 5 comeback carried over into last night as the Red Sox won 4-2 in Game 6 on the backs of Josh Beckett, Jason Varitek, Kevin Youkilis, Hideki Okajima and Jonathan Papelbon. If the Red Sox can win Game 7 tonight at Tropicana Field, they would comepte in the World Series versus the Philadelphia Phillies and would be heavily favored to continue their momentum and win.
