Red Sox Battle Tampa Bay Rays for First Place
Monday, June 30th, 2008The Red Sox have always had exciting games versus the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, now just called the Rays.
In the past few years the games beween these two divisional rivals there have been almost no-hitters, beanings and bench clearing brawls.
Tonight, the Red Sox begin a three game series with the Tampa Bay Rays which have a half game lead over the second-place Red Sox. The outcome of these three games will make the difference between first and second place.
