Manny Ramirez Traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers

Manny Ramirez has been traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers

A very sad day for Red Sox Nation.

Manny Ramirez is Tired of the Red Sox Front Office

Monday, July 28th, 2008

Manny speaking about the Red Sox front office: “I’m tired of them - they’re tired of me.”

The Red Sox front office bean counters way back when got the deal of the century when they signed Manny Ramrez.  Manny has always come through for the Red Sox, even after being put on waivers by the know it all wonderboy bean counters in the Red Sox front office.   the front office dows not go out and produce runs or excite the fans, it is the players, the real people on the field day in and day out.  This is not the way a team should treat a superstar who produces:

The Sox spanked him publicly Friday. For the first time. Outraged he would quit on them at the start of the Yankee series, they let him dangle in the breeze for all the world to see. Convinced he was lying about his right knee, they sent him for an MRI on both knees (in case Manny suddenly tried to claim it was the left knee). Then they made sure we all knew the MRIs were clean - getting word out before the end of the game. Late Friday, the club told him he’d be suspended if he refused to play Saturday - a sanction the Players Association would have grieved and won.

Sunday, July 27th, 2008

A Sox loss will enable the Yankees to tie the Red Sox in the standings.

Manny Being Manny?

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

Manny Ramirez sat out Tuesday night’s Red Sox/Mariners game with a sore right knee.  The timing of the injury is very odd considering Manny has been blasted by Red Sox Nation and the Fellowship of the Miserable for saying:

“To be honest with you, I don’t know, I want to stay in Boston, but I want to sit down after the season with ownership and see what my future is going to be in Boston”
