MLB has announced dates for the 2010 season. Highlights include the Red Sox hosting the Yankees at Fenway Park to open and end the 2010 season. The Sox play the Yankees sixteen times in 2010. The Red Sox close out tthe 2010 season hosting the Yanks for three more games at Fenway. The Red Sox will also host the Los ANgeles Dodgers for a three game stand at Fenway June 18-20.

Saturday, August 1st, 2009August 2009 will be an intense month of the Yankees Red Sox rivalry. With seven games to be played between the two teams this month these series just may determine which team will win the 2009 AL East Title. The Red Sox will play a four game series at the new Yankees Stadium August 6th through ninth. The Yankees will head into Fenway Park August 21-23, hopefully these games matter to both teams.
Red Sox Versus Yankees For First Place
Friday, June 12th, 2009The Boston Red Sox look to make it eight straight victories over the New York Yankees in 2009 at Fenway Park tonight June 11th. The Sox have won the first two of the three game series. The Sox now have sole possession of first place in the American League East. To stay in first place, the Red Sox will have to beat the Yankees’ ace C.C. Sabathia. After tonight, the Red Sox and Yankees will not meet again until August 6th when the Sox travel to the New Yankees Stadium for a four game series.
Boston Red Sox Tickets for 2009 Baseball Season On Sale Now
Sunday, January 25th, 2009The Boston Red Sox have put almost their entire slate of 2009 Fenway Park baseball games onsale today. All games with the exception of games versus the New York Yankees and the Opening Day Game were put on sale Saturday, January 24th. There is an 8 ticket per person limit. Tickets for the Red Sox games versus the Yankees and the Opening Day Games will go on sale at a later date to winners of a lottery.
Boston Red Sox Freeze Ticket Prices
Friday, November 14th, 2008The Red Sox have announced that the team will freeze ticket prices for all existing seats for the upcoming 2009 season at Fenway Park. This is the first season the Red Sox have not raised their ticket prices since 1995 or 14 years. The Red Sox have sold out over 460 consecutive games at Fenway Park. As long as the Red Sox keep winning, the fans will come. If the Red Sox decide to field a team with much lower payroll, they risk a losing season and lost revenue streams from all the other ways to spend money at Fenway Park.
