August 2009 will be an intense month of the Yankees Red Sox rivalry. With seven games to be played between the two teams this month these series just may determine which team will win the 2009 AL East Title. The Red Sox will play a four game series at the new Yankees Stadium August 6th through ninth. The Yankees will head into Fenway Park August 21-23, hopefully these games matter to both teams.
